Digital Monitoring System for continuous non-invasive transcutaneous monitoring of Carbon Dioxide Partial Pressure ( pco2), Oxygen Saturation (Spo2), Pulse Rate (PR) Pulse Index ( PI) in various settings.
There has always been a need for a product for non-invasive continuous monitoring of PCO2, with Spo2 and PR for patient’s safety and better clinical outcome of patients in various settings like ICU, CCU, NICU, PICU, OT, Acute Surgical ward, Post Surgical ward, Recovery room, Respiratory ward, Sleep Diagnostics, Post operative Pain Management etc.
After lot of inputs and research a Swiss based company Sentec AG has come out with an outstanding product for continuous non- invasive transcutaneous monitoring for PCO2, Spo2, PR and PI of patients in the afore mentioned various settings. The measured signals are digitized , pre-analyzed, and controlled within the sensor head ie; right at the measurement site and the digital data is communicated to the monitor thus minimizes sensitivity to electromagnetic radiations and thus permits improved measurement performance, accuracy etc to deliver real time non-invasive monitoring of PCO2, Spo2,PR and PI.

Product Code - VS-A/P/N
The V-Sign™ Sensor is a digital sensor for noninvasive and continuous monitoring of transcutaneous carbon dioxide partial pressure (PcCO2), oxygen saturation (SpO2), and pulse rate (PR). It combines the elements of a Stow-Severinghaus type PCO2 sensor and a pulse oximetry sensor. The V-Sign™ Sensor uses SenTec’s patented digital sensor technology.
The V-Sign™ Sensor is suitable for pediatric and adult patients. In neonatal patients the use of the V-Sign™ Sensor is currently indicated for carbon dioxide tension monitoring only.

Disposables - Multi-Site Attachment Rings
|
Product Code - MAR-A/P/N
Single-use Attachment Ring for use with the V-Sign™ Sensor. MAR-A/P/N is intended to attach the V-Sign™ Sensor to various measurement sites for PCO2-only monitoring.
For neonates as well as for adults and pediatrics with sensitive (fragile) but intact skin.

|
|
Product Code - GEL-04
The Sensor Gel ensures an adequate contact between the patient’s skin and the V-Sign™ Sensor.
Each time the V-Sign Sensor is attached to the patient, one drop of Sensor Gel must be applied to the center of the sensor membrane or to the measurement site.

Disposables - Membrane Changer
|
Disposables - Membrane Changer Product Code - VS-DSET
The membrane and the electrolyte on the V-Sign™ Sensor must be changed periodically.
The change of the membrane and electrolyte is easy and straight-forward with the V Sign™ Disposable Set. This patented and innovative tool removes the old sensor membrane, cleans the sensor surface, and applies new electrolyte and a new sensor membrane in less than 1 minute by 4 simple press-and-turn movements.

Product Code - V-STATS_CD
This PC based software is required for downloading SenTec trend data from the internal memory of the SenTec Digital Monitor to a PC. Data analysis includes detection and marking of events (e.g. desaturations, hypercapnia), artifacts and invalid measurement periods. The data analysis criteria are user adjustable. The results of the data analysis can be printed along with the graphs as a report.
Using V-STATS™ it is furthermore possible to configure different settings of the SDM.
Supported Languages:
English, German and French.
System Requirements:
Windows XP, Windows Vista SDMS SMB Software V06.10.xx or higher

Clothing Clip for Sensor Cable
|
Product Code - SC-CC
The Clothing Clip secures Sensor Cables on the patient’s clothes or on the bed’s linen. Proper cable organization can help to reduce strain. To prevent dislocation of the sensor, no strain should pull on the sensor when attached to the patient.
